What are transitions?

Options to let your video progress visually

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Smooth transitions are key to telling a compelling visual story in neural frames. Whether blending prompts, maintaining stable motion, or introducing hard cuts, transition tools help shift between scenes seamlessly. Understanding edge echo, modulation tricks, and interpolation techniques ensures more natural transformations—especially when moving between vastly different objects. You can also upload or generate images to transition toward, with options to either cut or blend into them for creative storytelling.

How do I change scenes with a hard cut? How do I morph one image into another?

Changing scenes with a Hard Cut or Blending Keyframes in your video is made easy with the transition selector tool. Just click on the add image icon in the purple box seen below.

On the Prompt Settings box, you can then choose to select a frame from the project, uploading an image, or generate a new image for your hard cut.

Once your new frame has been selected, you can then click Cut or Blend to either hard cut the frame, or blend it as a keyframe.
