When you upload your song to the Autopilot page, our magical AI automatically transcribes the lyrics for you. We also use the lyrics of the song to create visual stories for your videos, but you may also want to emphasize your lyrics even more with our Captions feature.

Where is the starting point for adding captions?

You'll see the feature once the Video Player appears on the Video page. Click on the CC icon at the bottom of the Video Player - this will expand your Caption controls, where you'll see two components: Font, and Lyric Segments.

Font

In the Font section, you'll be able to:

  • Choose your Font/Typeface from a dropdown of selections

  • Select the Font Size of your captions/lyrics

  • Select a Font Color

  • The background opacity

    • 0 is a completely transparent background

    • 1 is a fully black box surrounding your captions

  • Horizontal and Vertical positioning, so you can shift the captions to anywhere in the video you'd like

You can also Save your progress as you go, or Undo any changes you've made to go back to the previous saved version.

Lyric Segments

In the Lyric Segment section, you'll be able to:

  • Edit the timestamps and lyrics, line-by-line

  • Play the audio back to ensure that the lyrics line up with your song, down to the millisecond

  • Add or Delete lines of lyrics

Similar to the Font section, you can Save your progress as you go, or Undo any changes to go back to the previously saved version.
