The top questions asked by the neural frames community

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Welcome to neural frames! If you've just signed up, you may have some questions about what the neural squirrels are capable of 🐿️ Our squirrels can do a lot - but let's start off with some general information.

Top Questions and Recommendations

What are rendering credits?

Rendering credits are defined as seconds that you utilize when rendering.

  • Frame-by-frame animation: 1 credit per second

  • Text-to-video animation: The way we charge credits varies between each Text-to-Video model.

    • Kling 1.6 Standard: 3 credits per second

    • Runway Gen-3 Alpha: 5 credits per second

    • Kling 1.6 Pro: 10 credits per second

Rendering credits aren't based on the duration of an exported video, it's based around how much time is used on the video synth. For more info about credit usage for each model, please check out this article.

What is the best browser for neural frames?

We recommend using Chrome when working with neural frames.

What is the maximum length of a project?

10 minutes ⏰ If you want to extend out a project and make it longer than 10 minutes, we recommend taking the last frame in your initial project and using it as a starting frame on your new project. From there, you can stitch videos together using a post-production tool like CapCut, which offers a free tier and is super easy to use.

I want to add lyrics to my video. How do I do that?

We currently don't offer a feature to add lyrics to your videos. However, we do have a YouTube video on services we recommend when adding lyrics.

I want my video to lipsync my vocals. How do I do that?

We totally hear you on wanting to see this feature! However, we currently do not offer lipsyncing. We may be building something like this in the future, so stay tuned! πŸ‘€

What is the frame rate of exported videos?

The frame rate when using neural frames is 25 frames per second.

Does neural frames have an Affiliate Program?

Yes! For more info about our Affiliate program, please click here.

Subscription Management

Do my credits roll over month-to-month with an active subscription?

Yes! All credits rollover as long as you maintain an active subscription of the same tier or higher. Once a subscription is downgraded or canceled, your rollover credits would be deducted from your account.

How do I see how many rendering credits, models and prompt enhancers I have?

Your Account page displays your rendering time, how many custom models you have remaining, and for Neural Navigators you will see your prompt enhancer count.

Does neural frames offer subscription offers other than month-to-month?

We offer monthly and yearly subscriptions! Check out our Pricing page if you want to upgrade to a yearly subscription, or look into changing your monthly subscription.

If I cancel my subscription, do I still have access to my videos?

While we'd hate to see you go, you would still have access to your videos. It's important to note that after 90 days of inactivity on neural frames, your videos are automatically deleted to help maintain storage costs.

Models

What is the difference between text-to-video animation and frame-by-frame animation?

Text-to-video animation allows for fluid movements and actions, similar to current-day filmmaking. Frame-by-frame animation has less fluid movements, which provides more of a flicker effect. The actions and movements is similar to stop-frame animation.

What are standard models?

We offer you to choose from up to 10 standard models that all have their unique touches, just as every human intelligence has it's own beauty. Our text-to-video model specializes in fluid movements and actions, similar to current-day filmmaking. Specialist models offer specialized visual aesthetics like vintage cameras or manga. Allrounder models tend to pick up all sorts of visual aesthetics and focus on prompt adherence to meet your needs. It's fun to play with different models and befriend them! For more info about our models, check out this article.

What are custom models?

You can train your own AI models on any person, object or style for ultimate customization for your projects. Custom models work by uploading images of your subject and then we take care of the rest. This can be a super cool feature to achieve consistency throughout projects, or to even see yourself in your own video!

The Video Synthesizer

I want to understand all the functions of the Video Synthesizer - how can I learn more?

There's a lot of options on the Video Synthesizer! To get started, you can check out this article which breaks down:

  • Project Settings

  • Prompt Settings

  • Timeline Settings

  • Video Preview

  • Hotkeys / Shortcuts

We also offer a Tutorials section which goes into aspects of the video synthesizer further.

How do I delete a frame or a batch of frames on the timeline?

Rather than deleting, you can re-render over the project. Place your timeline cursor on the starting point that you want to re-render, and then select Create. From there, those previous renders will be written over so that you can see the new frames.

If you want to delete prompt boxes anyway, you can select the prompt and ensure it's highlighted in orange, and then press Delete on your keyboard.

I want to change the scene in a video. How do I do that?

You'd want to try a Hard Cut! For more info, check out this article.

How do I transition one image into another?

You'd want to try our Blending feature! For more info, check out this article.

What is upscaling?

Current video-generation AI models are trained on relatively low visual resolution, which means an upscaling step is needed to get crisp videos of high resolution. Here, we have an extra AI that does nothing else but improving the videos and increasing their resolution, and it does so with absolute beauty. Unlike competitors, we don't charge extra for upscaling - in fact it is being done for every exported video by default and we are happy about every upscaled video we see.

Can I edit the audio that I uploaded on the timeline?

While we currently don't offer an audio editing feature, there are free tools out there like Audacity that will allow you to edit audio seamlessly.

I want to export a few clips from my project - how do I do that?

At this time, we don't offer a feature to only export specific clips from your projects. You would need to take the video to a post-production/editing software. In these cases, we recommend CapCut, which is a free and easy to use tool that will get your clips edited down successfully.

What do I do when my render gets too dark?

Try increasing the Strength to get you out of the darkness! If you have a Strength of 0.60 or so, we'd recommend bumping it up to 0.80 so that you can see the light πŸ”¦

My video isn't coming out as expected. What do I do?

It's important to note that with AI being an emerging technology, some renders may take an unexpected turn! First, we recommend monitoring your render to make sure that everything is going in the direction that you want it to go in. Start small and add more prompting and length to your project as you go.

Sometimes, revamping your prompt can make all the difference. In some cases, even switching the model that you're using could benefit your overall project and prompt. Prompting and the model that you use go hand-in-hand and work together to provide you the best results.

Seeing things in your render that you don't want to see? That's ok! Just add those details to the Negative Prompt and try re-rendering back a few frames to see if the neural network can take care of that for you.

All created videos belong to you and no one else. We do not claim any rights to your videos. We will not use your videos unless you explicitly allow us to. If you create videos of objects that are protected by copyright, you are solely responsible for it. The same applies to uploaded audio files.
